Psalm 117:1-2, "Praise the Lord, all the nations; extol Him, all you peoples. For great is His love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever...Praise the Lord"
The shortest of all the psalms is sweetly powerful and to the point. The psalmist calls on ALL people to praise God for two of His qualities...His faithfulness and loyal love to His people. Synonyms for extol are to glorify or boast about...and the reasons are good. His loyal love is great and His truth lasts forever whereas human loyalty has limits and we are consistently not truthful.
He's all that we are not. He is a faithful God. 100% loyal, reliable, truthful and trustworthy. Get behind that! He goes before, beside and behind us and is worthy of our all.
