Psalm 132:9, "May Your priests be clothed with righteousness; may Your saints sing for joy."
The psalmist lead the Israelites in praying to God that He remember His promises to David to raise up descendants that would follow him on the throne. In this particular verse the Israelites called on God to establish a righteous group of priests among them and enable the godly of Jerusalem to rejoice because of his blessings.
It's relevant today because it is what our country needs...its priests clothed in righteousness, united against the hate that is brimming over. It's a great prayer for today. It's a start. Only when we live by love, will we be able to sing for joy.
