Psalm 42:8, "By day the Lord directs His love, at night His song is with me-a prayer to the God of my life."
There has been a marked difference in my thought and in my talk and in my walk. And the answer is easy. When I started spending time with God, He changed these things in me. There is also remarkable beauty and hope in knowing He is still working things out in me. I haven't arrived, I will not ever arrive until I am complete in my heavenly body when I am more like Him. And the more I strive to know, the more I realize I don't know...and the more I want to know. And the more I want to know, the more time I spend with Him and He is with me constantly....directing with His love by day, singing over me at night. His songs are always on my heart.
In the great times, the not so great, and the downright yuck when I cry out, "my God. My soul is downcast within me; therefore I will remember you" (v.6)...there is a prayer in my heart to the God of my life.
