Psalm 47: 7-9, "For God is the King of all the earth; sing to Him a psalm of praise. God reigns over the nations; God is seated on His holy throne. The nobles of the nations assemble as the people of the God of Abraham, for the kings of the earth belong to God; He is greatly exalted."
Ever been in a tiff? I've seen and heard of conflicts resolved in the most beautiful way when those sitting around the table are brothers and sisters in Christ. There is a lack of ego involved that is not seen elsewhere and resolution can often witness to others.
It's what I desire for our world. It's what can happen if we all turn back to God or to Him for the first time. When we quit wielding that "I'm large and in charge" attitude and realize it all belongs to God. In the end, He's going to rule over all the nations. Some pretty powerful people are going to be pretty humbled when their thrones crumble. But there is always hope. God waits for all to come to Him so that all might be saved.
It starts with one heart...the one beating in you. You are then on mission to share it with others and the Holy Spirit will touch their hearts. If one king, one ruler would come to the table as a servant and love others with his/her ego checked, who knows what might happen?! If your heart is all in, pray for our leaders so that their hearts might submit to Truth.
One day, when we all gather we will be a people from all nations that are all people of the God of Abraham. He will reign over us and we will sing His praise.
